Training Youth Ministry Leadership to Invest in the Youth
In order to equip young people to serve Christ and promote His Kingdom, BCYM aims to provide high quality training for local leaders. By combining theoretical and practical knowledge with opportunities to apply these newly acquired tools on the field, BCYM’s goal is to see the next generation prepared to meet the needs of the community around it through the local church.
A Desire for Training
A survey conducted in April 2019 by BCYM showed a desire among the local churches to receive help developing their Sunday School programs. BCYM is therefore committed to regularly providing trainings on relevant topics for the leaders of Sunday School ministries, where leaders can explore their gifts and grow in their faith. BCYM believes that a continuous relationship with local leaders provides a holistic element to training, not only providing them with the tools they need to succeed but also developing a godly character in them.
Raising Up the Youth
to Become Leaders
One of BCYM’s primary goals is to empower the Lebanese and Syrian youth to become leaders in their own communities. Once the youth are empowered, they can, in turn, reach out and mentor those younger than them.

What happened for her family there, however, was beyond what she could have hoped for.

Lina Abu Jamra on the Role of Cell Phones in Our Lives
When we wake up each morning, what’s the first item we lay our hands on: our Bibles or our smart phones? Jesus commanded us to “seek first His kingdom and His righteousness” (Matthew 6:33), but how many of us have the resolve to lay down our distractions and truly focus our attention on God alone?
“But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.”
