Children Need Love

Many of the vulnerable children who come to BCYM camps have endured terrible atrocities and have been separated from their loved ones. One of the things they need most is to feel loved and valued. By showing them unconditional love, BCYM volunteers can bring light and joy back into these precious souls’ lives again.

Love From Afar

When foreign volunteers make the commitment to come all the way from their home countries to Lebanon just to spend time with refugee children, it shows these children just how valuable they are. Just knowing that these visitors laid their own lives aside to see them has a massive impact on these children.

Helping Hands

Lending helping hands shows children that you care about their needs and that you want to make sure that they succeed. Children feel more secure and confident when they have a loving adult helping them complete a task.

“He took a little child whom he placed among them. Taking the child in his arms, he said to them, ‘Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me. “
